About Us

​Reimagine LA Foundation (RLAF) is a 501.c3 that is the brainchild of Rashad Rucker-Trapp and Raul Claros. These two friends and brothers-in-Christ came together to cultivate a way to serve Los Angeles County’s grassroots nonprofits as a hub of empowerment and incubator of community leadership and life-changing programming. RLAF emerged in a response to the civil unrest and pandemic of the year 2020. When communities across the country called for the “reimagination” of how government and law enforcement did business, we envisaged a foundation that would move forward with the inclusion and empowerment of our indigenous, black and brown people.
